This Dodger blue helmet was worn by two-time CY Young award winner Clayton Kershaw during the 2009 season. The size 7-3/8 Rawlings helmet has the inside manufacturer’s date clock stamp pointing to July 2009. The inside features multiple areas of wear, with the obligatory warming sticker. The outer shell has the “LA” logo on the front with Kershaw’s number “22” on the back just above the MLB logo. Large areas of wear including scratches and pine tar abound the outer shell, which also has the “R” sticker on the top. Pitchers hitting equipment are much less abundant than those of everyday players, with game used helmets the most scarce. LOA from John Taube of J. T. Sports.
