     Reclusive author Harper Lee released the follow up to the acclaimed To Kill a Mockingbird with Go Set A Watchman in 2015, shortly before her passing, but in the interim, she kept of a steady stream of correspondences with her friend from New York, Bruce Higginson. In this letter, sent on July 9th, 2009, Lee thanks Higginson for sending her New York newspapers while she vacationed in her childhood home of Alabama. Lee signed the letter “Much much love, Nelle”. This letter comes with the envelope it was sent in. This item comes with a LOA from University Archives.
