Cleveland Browns return specialist Josh Cribbs wore this white road jersey in 2009. Cribbs was the best return man in the NFL that season, earning First Team All-Pro honors and returning a league-best three kickoffs for touchdowns. In 2009, Cribbs set a new NFL record with his eighth career kickoff return for a touchdown. Additionally, the Kent State product rushed for a career high 381 yards as a wildcat quarterback for the Browns. Cribbs, who retired after the 2014 season, was named to the NFL’s All-Decade team for the 2000’s by the NFL Hall of Fame selection committee.
This jersey features Cribbs’ number “16” sewn on the front, back, and shoulders in brown tackle twill. “CRIBBS” is sewn across the back shoulders in brown tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. The sleeves are with a brown and orange striped pattern, and Reebok logo patches are sewn on each sleeve. An “AL” patch, in honor of former team owner Alfred Lerner, is sewn on the left sleeve. A small “Browns” wordmark patch is sewn on the chest below an NFL Equipment patch. A pink captain’s “C” patch is sewn on the right chest. “09-46” and “S2” tags are sewn on the back inside collar, however the “S2” tag is obscured by the PSA/DNA authentication sticker. This jersey shows good evidence of use, including numerous scuffmarks and stains, as well as a small hole in the fabric beneath the upper arch of the “6” digit on the back of the jersey. Cribbs has signed this jersey twice, once on the front “6” and once on the back “6” digit. This item comes with an NFL PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (N57443).
