The Hall of Fame tailback LaDainian Tomlinson wore this navy San Diego Chargers home jersey in a 31-23 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on November 15th, 2009 at Qualcomm Stadium. Tomlinson, arguably the best running back of his era, rushed for 96 yards and touchdowns of 20 and 3 yards in San Diego’s defense of their home turf. Philip Rivers completed 20 of 25 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns and a Nate Kaeding field goal with 30 seconds left in the game iced the contest for the Chargers.

Tomlinson, the 2006 NFL MVP, rushed for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns in his final season with the Chargers. A three-time First Team All-Pro selection, Tomlinson rushed for an inconceivable 13,684 yards and 145 touchdowns. The former Texas Christian star was a dual-threat in the backfield, collecting 624 receptions for 4,772 yards and 17 touchdowns. Because running and catching were too easy for “L.T.”, the class of 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame also threw for seven touchdowns out of the backfield.
