There simply was no stopping the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2008-2009 season, as the team rolled to a 65-17 regular season mark. The postseason saw more Lakers’ dominance, with series victories over the Utah Jazz, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic (in the NBA Finals) resulting in Los Angeles winning the league championship. Kobe Bryant led the way, averaging 26.8 points per game, while Pau Gasol served as a very nice sidekick, posting 18.9 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.

Presented here is a 2009 Los Angeles Lakers NBA championship ring, manufactured by Jason of Beverly Hills, featuring a “LAKERS” team logo across an image of a championship trophy, with diamonds filling the ring’s top. The diamonds are natural round brilliant white diamonds set onto yellow and white gold. “2009 WORLD CHAMPIONS” appears in relief work. One side is centered by an enamel-filled NBA logo, along with the Roman numeral XV, signifying this as the 15th title in franchise history. Also appearing are numbers representing the won-lost results of the team’s different playoff series that season. The opposite side includes “LAKERS” and their 65-17 regular season record. Inside the band is marked with the manufacturer’s serial number. This ring is an approximate size 7 ½ and weighs approximately 35.6 grams. Includes the original presentation box with a plate engraved “FOR YOUR TREMENDOUS SUPPORT STAPLES CENTER PRESENTS 2008-2009 WORLD CHAMPION LAKERS”. The inside of the box lights up and includes a spinning ring display.
