Miguel Cabrera burst into the majors at the young age of 20 leading his Florida Marlins to a World Championship. Six seasons later he was a seasoned veteran playing for the up-and-coming Detroit Tigers team with a career average above the .300 mark. This is the jersey Cabrera wore in the May 5, 2009 9-0 shutout against the Twins. Cabrera simply dominated Minnesota that night, going 3 for 4 that including a home run, double and 4 RBI. Cabrera went on to slug his 200th career home run later that year and finished up with a .324 average, 4th best in the AL. This Majestic Cool Base Detroit jersey shows great game use. The pine tar and dirt marks on the front of this home white jersey is exactly what you would expect from a slugger who went 3 for 4 on the day. Front right tail has Majestic tagging with a white cloth strip with “24 52 09 032”. A numbered MLB hologram sticker is attached to the tagging. Back has “CABRERA” in navy tackle twill on a white nameplate. His number “24” is below that also in navy. The first MLB triple crown winner in 45 years!.MLB hologram and authentication.
