Since breaking into the Majors in 2003, Miguel Cabrera has proved himself to be a star. Able to play third base, first base or the outfield, Cabrera has become instrumental in leading the Marlins to a World Championship and the Tigers to a World Series appearance. More often than not hovering at the top of the offensive statistics, 2009 was no exception. This bat dates from that season in which he batted .324 with 34 home runs.  The two-tone Phoenix 24 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. There are many ball marks and stitch impressions on the barrel along with scuffs and abrasions from contact with other bats. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and Cabrera’s number and Tigers weight code are written on the knob and barrel end. The 2-time MVP has signed the barrel in contrasting silver pen. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13183) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a LOA from JSA (Z83914) for the signature.
