Nick Swisher celebrated his first summer in Yankees pinstripes by belting 29 home runs and driving in 82 runs for the pennant-bound New Yorkers. Swisher’s big bat and gregarious personality was just what the Yankees needed as the club cruised to their 27th World Championship.
