Nick Swisher celebrated his first summer in Yankees pinstripes by belting 29 home runs and driving in 82 runs for the pennant-bound New Yorkers. Swisher’s big bat and gregarious personality was just what the Yankees needed as the club cruised to their 27th World Championship. Used during that 2009 season, Swisher’s world championship season-used Louisville Slugger P72 model bat shows great game use. The barrel has the special Louisville Slugger 125th Anniversary stamp on a barrel showing several ball marks with ink transfers and stitch impressions. Cleat imprints and bat rack paint streaks are also found on the barrel. The handle has been wrapped with a spiral of adhesive tape to enhance the grip and a heavy coat of pine tar applied. The Yankees outfielder has also signed the barrel in black marker, adding "Game Used." This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B02606) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5.
