Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning wore this white Colts helmet during the 2009 NFL season. Manning, in his 12th season at the helm of the Colts offense, started all 16 games and led the Colts to a sterling 14-2 record. Manning completed 393 passes in 2009, racking up an even 4,500 passing yards and 33 of his 539 career passing touchdowns.

Manning’s Colts appeared in the Super Bowl for the second time of Manning’s career after defeating the Ravens and Jets in the first two rounds of the playoffs. Despite Manning’s 333 passing yards, the Colts fell to the New Orleans Saints 31-17 in Super Bowl XLIX. The former Tennessee star won his second consecutive NFL MVP award in 2009, and he would finish his career with a record five MVP awards.

This helmet is white, with a blue stripe bisecting the crown. The Colts blue horseshoe logo is applied to each side of the helmet. The facemask is gray, and the chinstrap has been removed, however all interior padding is intact. Manning’s number “18” is applied to the back of the helmet in blue numbers, while other stickers on the back include a green headset sticker, an American flag decal, and a NFL logo decal. “COLTS” is printed in blue on the back bumper, while “RIDDELL” is printed in blue on the forehead bumper. Manning has signed this helmet in black marker, inscribing “18” and “Game Used” in addition to his signature. This helmet comes with a Mounted Memories hologram (0205160) and a Peyton Manning hologram (20613). Manning's inscription and the JO Sports hologram (VY52062) are serving as game used authentication as there is no third party service for helmets at this time. This helmet is being sold as-is and returns will not be permitted, so please make sure you are comfortable with the helmet prior to bidding.
