The future Hall of Famer Steve Smith wore this blue Carolina Panthers home jersey on August 29th, 2009, as the Baltimore Ravens visited Bank of America Stadium. The Ravens won this preseason battle 17-13 as starters for both teams played into the third quarter. Smith caught two passes in this game for 37 yards. Smith had an excellent regular season for the 8-8 Panthers, recording 65 receptions for 982 yards and seven touchdowns.

This offered blue Panthers jersey has Smith’s number “89” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white and black tackle twill. “SMITH” is sewn across the back shoulders in white and black tackle twill over a matching blue nameplate. Panthers logos and Reebok logo patches are applied to both sleeves. Silver-black-silver striping accents both sleeves. An “09-38” tag is sewn to the back inside collar. Smith has signed the “9” digit on the back of this jersey in blue marker. The former Utah star added the inscription “All the Best” to his signature. This jersey comes with a LOA from Baltimore Ravens tailback Willis McGahee and a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication. A COA from Beckett Authentication Services (H16258) covers McGahee’s signature and an additional COA from Beckett Authentication (F33846) covers Smith’s signature.
