Todd Helton spent his entire 17-season career with the Colorado Rockies where he was a five-time all-star and had a .316 career average. During the 2009 season, Helton used this Louisville Slugger C271 model bat when he hit for a .325 average with 15 home runs and 86 RBI. This bat displays heavy use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat imprints present on the barrel. There’s a light coating of pine tar on the upper handle/lower barrel and Mota Stick on the lower handle to enhance the grip. The date of manufacture “5/14/2009” and length/weight “35/32.5oz” have been stamped on the knob and the "M9" center brand has been removed by Helton. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15260) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.
