Alex Rodriguez got closer to Lou Gehrig’s all-time grand slam home run tally when he connected off of Cleveland Indians’ pitcher Chris Perez in the bottom of the seventh inning during the May 31st, 2010 game. The home run was Rodriguez’s 590th career home run and 20th career grand slam, which pulled AROD within three grand slams of the Iron Horse himself. Rodriguez’s home run turned a 2-1 deficit into a 5-2 Yankees lead in game they would end up winning 11-2.

This is the very baseball that Rodriguez hit for his 590th career home run and 20th grand slam. This ball, which displays excellent game use, is an Official Major League Allen H. Selig stamped ball. Rodriguez has signed his name on the sweet spot in light blue pen. Rodriguez inscribed on the panel below his signature “HR #590” in the same blue pen. This baseball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (LH882889) which collected this ball and states “Player states these items were used to hit his 20th career grand slam in the eighth inning” and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
