Boston Red Sox hero David Ortiz’s 2010 season was a solid one as the DH belted 32 home runs, had 102 RBI and maintained a .270 batting average. Ortiz used this Nokona Customized model bat during the 2010 season. This bat was last used during the August 2nd, 2010 game between the Cleveland Indians and Red Sox at Fenway Park. Ortiz finished the game going 2-for-4 as the Red Sox fell to the Indians 6-5. This bat displays excellent game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks present on the barrel and a light coating of pine tar is on the handle. The mid-to-lower handle also has black tape to enhance the grip and the length “34.5” and weight “32.2 oz” has been hand written on the knob. This bat comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 818859) dating this bat to the August 2nd game and a LOA from Steiner Sports (147734) for the game use. This bat has also been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching (425301) to the August 2nd game.
