Boston Red Sox hero David Ortiz’s 2010 season was a solid one as the DH belted 32 home runs, had 102 RBI and maintained a .270 batting average. Ortiz used this Nokona Customized model bat during the 2010 season. This bat displays outstanding game use is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel and a moderate coating of pine tar is on the handle. The lower handle and knob has black tape to enhance the grip and the length “34.5” and weight “31.8” and Ortiz’s number “34” have been hand written on the knob. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats manufactured after 2009. Big Papi has signed his name in black marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16120) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10. Additionally, there is a COA from Beckett Authentication (G38064) for the signature.
