Hall of Famer Derek Jeter was not known for his power, but did manage to belt 260 round-trippers during his storied career in pinstripes. Jeter connected on his 6th home run of the 2010 season and 230th of his career off Blue Jays pitcher Ricky Romero in the 5th inning. Selig baseball displays outstanding game use with multiple abrasion marks. Jeter marked the occasion by signing his name in blue pen across the sweet spot and inscribed “HR #230 6-5-10”. This ball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (LH425601) and has been listed as a “Player Collected Baseball” and noted “Pitch by Ricky Romero to Derek Jeter, 5th, Hit for Home Run, (hit into Yankees Bullpen, brought to authenticator by security guard).” There is also a LOA from Beckett Authentication (AA13923) for the signature.
