The player formerly known as Mike Stanton wore this black batting practice jersey during the Florida Marlins 2010 Spring Training. Stanton, now known by his birth name of Giancarlo, burst out of the gates in his rookie season, hitting 22 home runs and 21 doubles in only 100 games. Today, Stanton is one of the most feared sluggers in the Major Leagues and a three-time All-Star. Entering 2016, Stanton has hit 208 home runs in his first seven seasons and is the recipient of the most lucrative contract in sporting history, worth $325 million over 13 seasons.

This one-button, pullover jersey has “Marlins” screen printed across the front in silver, black, and gray. “Stanton” is applied across the back shoulders in black and white screen printed felt. His number during spring training, “80” is printed on the back of this jersey in similar fashion. A teal and black MLB logo is applied to the back outside collar. A Majestic tag has been applied to the front left tail of the jersey. Majestic Cool Base and size “XL” flags are attached to the side of the jersey. The sides of the jersey are made of white mesh. Stanton autographed the “0” on the back in black marker, signing his name as “Mike Stanton”. This item comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03593) for the signature, and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for game use. It also comes with a purchase letter from the Marlins Community Foundation.
