Minnesota Twins first baseman Justin Morneau wore this alternate home jersey during the Twins’ 2010 campaign. Morneau was off to a blazing start to the season, hitting .345 with 18 home runs and 56 RBI, before a concussion in June sidelined him for the remainder of the season. At the time, Morneau was the leading vote-getter at the first base position for the MLB All-Star Game. Although he did not play in the All-Star Game, this was the fourth consecutive All-Star selection for the former 2006 American League MVP.
This jersey is an off-white, blue pinstriped button down home alternate jersey. “Twins” is sewn across the chest in navy blue and red tackle twill. Morneau’s number “33” is sewn on the back in navy blue and red tackle twill. A circular Twins “50 Seasons” patch is sewn on the right arm, while the left arm features a Twins retro logo patch above a navy blue Majestic logo. A MLB logo is sewn on the back outside collar. A Majestic Authentic tag is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. Size “50” and “2010” flags are attached to the tag. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
