The Hall of Fame centerfielder Ken Griffey Jr. wore these Nike cleats during the 2010 MLB season with the Seattle Mariners. Griffey played in 33 games for Seattle in 2010 before retiring in late May. In 13 seasons with the Mariners, “The Kid” hit .292 with 417 of his 630 career home runs coming in the Pacific Northwest. Griffey was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016, appearing on 437 of a possible 440 ballots in his first season of eligibility.
These offered Nike cleats are black and white with blue accents and Griffey’s personal logo applied to each heel. Navy Nike swoosh logos are applied to each shoe and “JR” is printed on the tongue tags. Griffey has signed both cleats in silver marker. These cleats come with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and a pair of LOAs and COAs from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (H63949 & H63950).
