Since his debut with the Marlins in 2003, Miguel Cabrera has been one of baseball’s most outstanding players. At home in both the infield and outfield, Cabrera has left a trail of enviable awards and honors: 7 Silver Slugger Awards, 4 batting championships, 2 AL MVP Awards, a pair of home run titles, and a Triple Crown. Since this bat was used by Miggy in 2010, let’s look at his numbers that summer with Detroit. Cabrera started off the season in fine form by hitting three home runs in a game against Oakland and was voted to the All-Star team, his first time as a member of the American League. After placing 4th in the Home Run Derby, Cabrera finish up the year with a career high 38 homers to go with a fine .328 batting average and 126 RBIs.

As enviable as his 2010 number were, they were only a teaser when compared to the next two seasons in which he won back-to-back MVP Awards and a Triple Crown. Cabrera’s 2010 SAM MC1 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. The barrel shows several ball marks and scuffs and Cabrera’s number “24” is handwritten on the top of the barrel in black marker. Cabrera has signed the barrel in matching gold marker and inscribed “GAME USED 2010 .328 AVG, 38 HR, 126 RBI.” A stunning Cabrera gamer complete with his 2010 stats inscribed on the bat by the future Hall of Famer himself. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16433) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature.
