The “Linsanity” craze swept through New York during the 2011-2012 NBA season. Buoyed by unheralded and undrafted castaway point guard Jeremy Lin, the Knicks executed a stunning turnaround, with Lin’s clutch scoring and savvy passing consistently earning wins for the team. Although Linsanity only lasted for 35 games, the point guard was a breakout star who created one of the most memorable stretches of play for the Knicks since the heyday of Patrick Ewing.
Lin wore this jersey during the magical Linsanity run. This white home jersey has “New York” sewn across the chest in orange and blue tackle twill. Lin’s number “17” is sewn on the chest in orange mesh on blue and white tackle twill. “Lin” is sewn on the back shoulders in blue tackle twill beneath a circular Knicks logo. The jersey has numerous blue and orange accents. An NBA tag and an Adidas size “L” tag are sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. A “Length +2” flag is attached to the Adidas tag. This jersey, which shows light wear, comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
