Mike Trout has already established himself as the best baseball player in the Major Leagues. The three-time American League MVP and 2012 AL Rookie of the Year is on pace to becoming one of, if not the greatest player of all-time. Trout made his Major League debut at the age of 19 during the 2011 season, appearing in 40 games and showing the promise of his potential by hitting five home runs and 16 RBI in that limited duty.

Trout would follow that up with his Rookie of the Year season in 2012 by hitting 30 home runs and 83 RBI and a league-leading 129 runs scored and 49 stolen bases. Trout would finish second in the AL MVP voting. Offered here is the Angels batting helmet worn by Trout during the 2011-12 seasons, his first foray into the Big Leagues. This helmet displays outstanding use with numerous abrasion marks throughout.

The front of this size 7 ½ all-red Rawlings helmet has the Angels “A” logo decal, while the back of the helmet has Trout’s number “27” affixed in Angel’s font with red and white decals. Below Trout’s number is the MLB logo decal. There is an ear flap on the left side for right handed batters and the inside of the helmet has padding on the back, the top and on the ear flap. “27” is affixed on the inside in black decals right next to the Rawlings label. Please note that the label is full intact, but partially peeling away. “7 ½” is handwritten in black marker next to the top padding. A great opportunity to own a significant early-career game used item from the 3-time AL MVP. This comes with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use.
