Minnesota Vikings running back wore this white Vikings road jersey for three games during the 2011 regular season. Peterson’s first two games in this jersey, on August 13th and 20th, took place in the NFL Preseason, while the former Oklahoma running back also wore this jersey on October 16th against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. Peterson rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown in this game as the Bears defended their home field in a 39-10 win. This was the 61st touchdown of Peterson’s decorated career. The one-time 2,000-yard rusher started 12 games in 2011, rushing for 970 yards and 12 scores on 4.7 yards per attempt.
This offered Vikings road jersey is white, with AP’s number “28” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in purple and yellow tackle twill. “PETERSON” is sewn across the back shoulders in purple tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. A Vikings logo is sewn on the back outside collar and a NFL logo patch is sewn on the front collar. A Vikings wordmark is sewn on the chest, while Reebok logo patches are sewn on both sleeves.
