Alex Rodriguez continued his march towards 700 home runs when he used this Louisville Slugger C271L model bat during the June 4th, 2011 game against the Los Angeles Angels to hit his 623rd career home run. AROD’s 10th home run of the 2011 season came off of Angels’ pitcher Ervin Santana in the sixth inning and his two-run blast proved to be the decisive blow in the Yankees’ 3-2 road victory.

This offered bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, white leather scuffs and cleat imprints present on the barrel. There is a moderate coating of pine tar on the lower handle and the bat’s manufacture date “10/6/2009” and length/weight “34/32oz” has been stamped on the knob. AROD has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “game used 6-4-11 Career homerun #623”. This bat comes with a signed LOA from Alex Rodriguez authenticating the bat’s use and his signature, plus an MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ616823), which authenticates that Rodriguez used this bat during the June 4th, 2011 game.
