President Barack Obama sent this signed typed letter to Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to “thank [him] for [his] wonderful gifts and kind words”, as well as congratulating Abdul-Jabbar on receiving the prestigious Ford’s Theatre Society Lincoln Medal. President Obama's auto-penned signature is printed on official White House stationary, in black marker. This letter comes in a 13.5 x 20.5-inch framed display. A photograph of Abdul-Jabbar with President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama is displayed in the frame as well. This item derives directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem will accompany this item.
