It was Evan Longoria’s extra-innings home run that propelled the Rays past the Yankees and into the 2011 playoffs. Longoria’s 2011 season-used Louisville Slugger I13 model bat is un-cracked and shows heavy use. The barrel is covered in ball marks with stitch impressions along with blue ink transfers and cleat imprints. Green bat rack paint streaks can be seen, and the impression of a weighted batting donut is present. A moderate coat of pine tar has been applied and a set of cartoon eyes are drawn on the barrel in black marker. The bat’s specs are stamped into the knob and Longoria’s number “3” is on a sticker affixed to the knob. The slugger has signed the barrel in blue marker and added, “Game Used 2011.”  This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17179) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signatures.
