After being drafted in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft with the No. 11 pick by the Houston Texans, J.J. Watt quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with on the defensive side of the ball. The defensive end out of Wisconsin played in all 16 games for the Texans in 2011 and finished the year with 5.5 sacks, 56 combined tackles and 19 quarterback hits.

One of those sacks came when Watt wore this size 48 Reebok road white Texans jersey during Houston’s 41-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans on October 23rd, 2011 at LP Field in Nashville. This jersey has been photo matched by Sports Investors Authentication to that game. The rookie Watt had three solo tackles, including the aforementioned sack in the lopsided road victory – all while wearing this jersey.

This offered jersey features Watt’s number “99” sewn on in red and navy tackle twill on the front, back and shortened sleeves. “TEXANS” is embroidered in navy above his number on the front and the navy V-neck collar has the NFL Equipment shield patch sewn at its base. The back of the jersey has “WATT” sewn on in navy tackle twill on a matching white nameplate. The sleeves and shoulders are separated by a vertical navy stripe and the Reebok logo patches are sewn on each sleeve. Sewn on the inside back collar are two white patches that read “11-48” and “LB”. This jersey displays outstanding game use with multiple grass and dirt stains, along with paint marks. Watt has signed this jersey in black marker on the top of the left “9” on the back and inscribed “99”. This jersey comes with a COA from NFL-PSA/DNA (N80449) authenticating that this jersey was worn by J.J. Watt during the October 23rd, 2011 game and that he signed this jersey. This also comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (190926E3), who have photo matched this jersey to the October 23rd, 2011. game.
