James Shields wore this size 48 Majestic Authentic Collection white Tampa Bay Rays jersey on April 15, 2011 against the visiting Minnesota Twins. Shields did not appear in the game in which Tampa defeated Minnesota 5-2. All of the players wore #42 in honor of Jackie Robinson and Shields signed his name in silver Sharpie on the base of the “4” of the “42” in the back of the jersey. Shields also inscribed “Game Used! 2011” on the base of the “2” on the back of the jersey as well. The number “33” is written in marker on the Majestic tag at the base of the jersey, which was Shields’ regular number. Shield’s signature comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (X97464) and the jersey is MLB Authenticated (FJ 481943).
