Former Major League manager Jim Leyland won 1,769 games in 22 seasons as manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Florida Marlins, Colorado Rockies and Detroit Tigers. Leyland spent his first 11 of those seasons in Pittsburgh, where he was Manager of the Year in 1990 and 1992, leading the Pirates to three consecutive National League East titles. Leyland also was Manager of the Year for the Detroit Tigers in 2006.

Leyland wore this Majestic size 44 button-down Detroit Tigers road gray jersey during the 2011 season. The front of the jersey has “Detroit” sewn on in navy blue, orange and white tackle twill across the chest with Leyland’s number “10” sewn on the left center front in the same navy blue, orange and white. Navy blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The Majestic label is stitched to the lower right front tail with a white team strip tag that reads “10 44 ‘11 088”. The back of the jersey has “LEYLAND” and his number “10” sewn on in navy blue, orange and white tackle twill and the MLB logo patch sewn on in navy blue, white and orange on the upper back neck. The Majestic logo is embroidered in navy blue on the left sleeve and a memorial black patch shaped like a home plate that has “SPARKY 11” is sewn on the right sleeve in honor of former Tigers manager and Hall of Famer Sparky Anderson, who passed away in November of 2010. This jersey shows moderate game use and Tigers’ clubhouse manager Jim Schmakel marked the manufacturer’s label “JSG” in black Sharpie to verify the jersey was worn by Leyland. This jersey comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B54309) and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
