Rivera came into the 2011 season hot on the trail of Trevor Hoffman's all-time career saves record. As the season progressed The Sandman reeled off save after save and on the night of September 13th walked off the mound at Safeco Field with his 600th, making him only the second reliever in history to get to that mark and 2 shy of the record. This is the Yankees line up card used during that historic game. The card is marked with the starting line up and shows all the personal changes made through out the 3-2 win over the Mariners. This is an outstanding piece of memorabilia marking a milestone in the career of the best closer the game had ever seen. Rivera has signed the top of the card in blue Sharpie and noted "600th Save 9-13-11". MLB and Yankees-Steiner Certification holograms are affixed to the front of the card.
