During the May 4th, 2011 game between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers, the Dodgers donned these classic 1944 Brooklyn Dodgers powder blue uniforms. The original Brooklyn Dodgers powder blue uniforms were made of satin and used in night games as a way to be seen better in the night lights by the fans. This uniform set was worn by Dodgers’ outfielder Matt Kemp, who wore very uniform during the Dodgers 5-1 loss to the Cubs.

The right sleeve has a circular black patch with “4” in white, in memory of Hall of Famer Duke Snider. Kemp signed his name in blue marker on the paraph on the front of the jersey. This jersey displays moderate game use with some dirt and grass stains present and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ333921) for the game use and a COA from PSA/DNA (AE55795) for his signature.

The matching powder blue game pants were also manufactured by Bobcat Athletic and feature a white stripe down the outside of each pant leg.
