Widely regarded as the greatest baseball player of his generation, Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels made his MLB debut on July 8th, 2011 during the Angels 4-3 win over the Seattle Mariners. A highly touted prospect, Trout would debut to much fanfare after his abrupt call-up to the Majors, with national media paying keen attention to his first game. Trout would bat 0-3, clearly not a portent of things to come, as Trout would be named Al Rookie of the Year in 2012. Presented here is a Los Angeles Angels ticket from Trout's MLB debut, signed and inscribed by the "Millville Meteor" himself. The 2 x 5 ¼ -inch ticket features Angel’s manager Mike Scioscia's image, along with the game date, seating location, and price. Trout signed his name on the bottom of the ticket with a blue marker and inscribed "MLB Debut." The ticket comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD 239903) for the signature and comes encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (46491867) which has graded the ticket MINT 9, while PSA/DNA has assigned the signature the unimprovable grade of 10.
