San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers wore this powder blue Chargers home jersey on December 18th, 2011 for a game against the Baltimore Ravens at Qualcomm Stadium. Rivers led the Chargers to a commanding 34-13 victory against Baltimore, completing 17 of 23 passes for 270 yards and a touchdown. Rivers threw a touchdown strike to Malcolm Floyd with 10:38 left in the third quarter to push the Bolts lead to 24-7, while Ryan Mathews rushed for two scores and Mike Tolbert one as the Chargers earned a solid win over the soon-to-be AFC North Division champs. Rivers finished the 2011 season with 4,624 passing yards and 27 touchdown passes for the AFC West runners up.
This powder blue Chargers jersey has Rivers’ number “17” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white, navy, and gold tackle twill. A gold, blue, and navy tackle twill lightning bolt is sewn on a white panel on each sleeve. A Reebok logo patch is also sewn on each sleeve. “RIVERS” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching powder blue nameplate. A Chargers logo and an NFL logo are sewn on the chest, while an “11 – 48 S” swatch is sewn on the back inside collar.
