Former New York Yankees slugger Robinson Cano won the 2011 All-Star home run derby with a remarkable 12 homers in the final round. The rest of the season saw Cano hitting .302 with 28 homers as the Yankees cruised to another post-season berth. The 2011 season saw Cano reach his second of what would be five straight all-star appearances and was the recipient of the Silver Slugger Award.
Cano used this Marucci Cano Custom Cut-M model bat during the 2011 season that saw him finish with 118 RBI. This bat is 34 inches long, weighs 33.5 ounces and shows outstanding use. There is a crack in the handle. The handle has also been taped in a white criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip and a healthy coat of pine tar is on the upper handle and lower barrel. There are several ball marks and cleat marks on the barrel and Cano’s number “24” is stamped on the knob. Cano has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “Game Used”. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12108) who have graded this bat a near perfect GU 9 and a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (7A96378) for his signature.
