Powered by a lineup that featured five players who all hit at least 25 home runs (with Adrian Beltre, Ian Kinsler and Mike Napoli each hitting at least 30), the 2011 Texas Rangers won the AL West with a record of 96-66. Michael Young only hit 11 HRs, yet led the team with 106 RBIs, thanks to his .338 batting average. On the mound, five starters won at least 13 games, with C.J. Wilson heading the staff with a 16-7 record and 2.94 ERA. The Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays and Detroit Tigers to win the AL pennant, before losing to the St. Louis Cardinals in a memorable seven-game World Series.
Presented here is a Jostens 10K gold 2011 Texas Rangers American League championship coaches ring, featuring the team’s “T” logo – set with genuine custom cut rubies – set on the image of a diamond studded baseball. The words “TEXAS” and “RANGERS” appear on red and blue stones, respectively. “AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS” reads in relief lettering around the outer perimeter, along with additional diamonds. One side of the ring is centered by an American League logo which sits on an enamel-filled image of a map of Texas. Two stars – with a diamond set in each – appear at the bottom, with “TEXAS” reading across the top. Centering the opposite side is a red colored stone in the shape of a “T” set on a baseball filled with diamonds. The name “DAYETT” appears above along with the year 2011, with a state flag down below. “JOSTENS © 10K” is marked inside the band of this approximate size 11 ring, with its weight approximately 43.4 grams. The entire ring features approximately 90 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing slightly under one carat total. The genuine rubies total approximately .80 carats. Included is the original presentation box, with etched glass that reads “TEXAS RANGERS 2011 AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS DAYETT” and also displaying two team logos.
