Michael Young only hit 11 HRs, yet led the team with 106 RBIs, thanks to his .338 batting average. On the mound, five starters won at least 13 games, with C.J. Wilson heading the staff with a 16-7 record and 2.94 ERA. The Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays and Detroit Tigers to win the AL pennant, before losing to the St. Louis Cardinals in a memorable seven-game World Series.
