Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre wore this blue Rangers 1976 Turn Back the Clock road uniform (jersey, pants, and cap) during the Rangers 2-1 win over the Detroit Tigers on August 11th, 2012 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Beltre went 2-4 in this contest, which the Rangers won thanks to a Mike Olt walk off RBI single off Phil Coke. Beltre, a recent entrant to the 3,000-hit club, made the American League All-Star team in 2012. He finished the year with a .321 batting average, 32 homers, 106 RBI, and a third-place finish in the American League MVP race.

The offered jersey is a light blue two-button pullover. While the Rangers wore this style of uniform for road games in 1976, they used it as their home jersey for the August 11th contest. This jersey has “Texas” sewn across the chest in red and white tackle twill. “BELTRE” is sewn across the back shoulders in dark blue tackle twill, while his number “29” is sewn below in red, white, and dark blue tackle twill. The sleeves and collar are accented with a blue-white-red band. A Rangers bicentennial patch is sewn on the left sleeve above a dark blue Majestic logo. A “TBTC 1976” swatch is sewn on the front left tail below a Majestic tag with an attached size “48” flag. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 231545).

Also included in this lot are Beltre’s hat and pants from the Turn Back the Clock game. Beltre’s hat from the August 11th game is dark blue with a red brim. The Rangers “T” logo is sewn on the front of the hat in white and red. A MLB logo is sewn on the back of the hat. Beltre’s number “29” is written on the inside of this size 7 1/8 hat in black marker. This cap comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 231580). The pants are light blue, with a red-white-blue waistband and stripe running down the leg.
