The 2012 Detroit Tigers came oh-so-close to winning the World Series. Behind a pitching staff with three Cy Young Award Winners (Verlander, Scherzer, Porcello) the AL Central champion Tigers swept the Yankees in the ALCS. Pitted against the San Francisco Giants, the Tigers fell short of World Series victory, being swept themselves in four games. Despite Venezuelan slugger Miguel Cabrera’s effort, the Tigers offense could not muster up enough runs to deliver the Commissioner’s Trophy to Comerica Park.

This ball is signed by 31 members of the Detroit ball club, including manager Jim Leyland, Justin Verlander, Miguel Cabrera, and Prince Fielder. The players and coaches signed this Rawlings Official World Series Selig ball in blue ballpoint pen, with their signatures appearing all over the ball. This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (S14572).
