Former Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen wore this black Pirates helmet during the 2012 season and has been photo matched to five games where he combined to hit eight of his season total 31 home runs, along with 12 RBI in those five games. This Rawlings size 8 helmet was photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the May 17th, May 19th, July 8th, September 10th and September 14th games. The front of this helmet has the Pirates “P” sticker, while the back of this helmet has McCutchen’s number “22” in yellow and white on a black circle sticker and the MLB logo. The helmet displays heavy game use with abrasions, pine tar stains and a crack on the left brim. McCutchen has signed his name in silver marker on the back crown and inscribed “22”. This helmet comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (EK343273) which authenticates that he wore this helmet for the last time on September 28th and signed this his helmet at a Pirates FanFest function on December 12th, 2012. Additionally, there is a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (425518) who have photo matched this helmet to the above-referenced five games.
