The Atlanta Braves’ huge run of success in the 1990s was linked to more than just a dominant pitching staff. It signaled the rise of third baseman Chipper Jones, who went on to win a World Series with the team in 1995 and National League MVP award in 1999. This signed off-white, button-down Atlanta Braves home jersey features the eight-time All-Star’s signature in bold, silver Sharpie across the “0” on the back of his number “10” uniform. Jones inscribed “2012 Game Used Final Season” at the bottom of the “0” also in vivid silver Sharpie. The jersey features “Braves” across the chest and Jones’ number “10” on the front and back, all in red-on-navy blue tackle twill. “JONES” appears across the back of the jersey in navy blue tackle twill on an off-white name plate. The left sleeve of the jersey features a stitched “1876 Atlanta Braves” patch with a stitched “Majestic” logo underneath. The front tail of the jersey features a “Majestic Authentic Collection” with a white strip tag below that reads “48 ’12 S20,” indicating the jersey’s size, year and set number. The jersey, which will never be worn by another Braves player again, comes with PSA/DNA certification number 4A62746.
