An eight-time All-Star and 1995 World Series champion who amassed impressive offensive totals while playing for a single club during a 19-year career, Larry Wayne “Chipper” Jones was the Atlanta Braves’ stalwart third baseman. The switch-hitter was competing in his final season in 2012 of his Hall of Fame career. At the age of 40 in 2012, Chipper still hit 14 home runs and drove in 62 runs while maintaining a solid .287 average. Jones would finish his career with 468 home runs and a lifetime .303 average.

This Adirondack/Rawlings 794A model bat was used by Jones during his final season in the Major Leagues. This all-black bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are numerous ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. There are also cleat marks and a moderate to heavy coating of pine tar on the handle. Jones’ number “10” is handwritten in silver marker on the knob and the model number “794A”, order “188” and year “12” are stamped on the knob. Jones signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “10”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10139) and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C99701) for the signature.
