Atlanta Braves second baseman Dan Uggla wore this Braves ivory alternate home jersey on April 18th, 2012 against the New York Mets at Turner Field. Uggla was one of three Braves to go yard in this game, a 14-6 Atlanta victory, connecting on a two-run jack in the third inning off 2012 National League Cy Young winner R.A. Dickey. Uggla drew a walk to start off the bottom of the fifth inning, with Freddie Freeman plating the former Marlins star on his own two-run homer. Uggla, a 2012 National League All-Star and the owner of the longest hitting streak in Braves history, finished the season with 19 homers, 78 RBI, and an NL-high 94 walks.
This offered button-down Atlanta home jersey has “Braves” and Uggla’s number “26” sewn on the chest in red and navy tackle twill. “UGGLA” is sewn across the back shoulders in navy tackle twill over a matching ivory nameplate. A second “26” is sewn on the back of the jersey in red and navy tackle twill. A Braves patch and a Majestic logo are sewn on the left sleeve of this jersey. Navy piping accents the chest and collars. A Majestic tag and a “46 ’12 S3” swatch are sewn on the front left tail of this jersey. A Cool Base flag is attached to the left side of the jersey, which features underarm portions constructed of ivory mesh. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 051045).
