In his last full season with the Texas Rangers, slugger Josh Hamilton belted 43 home runs and drove in 128. Hamilton used this Louisville Slugger H359 model bat during the 2012 season and last used it during the August 1st, 2012 game at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington against his future team the Los Angeles Angels. This bat displays outstanding use and has an approximately six-inch piece of the handle missing when it was broken during his fifth inning at-bat. There are numerous ball marks, stitch impressions and blue ink transfers present on the barrel. The remaining portion of the handle is coated with Mota Stick and the date of manufacture “06/22/12” and length/weight “35.0/34.0” are stamped on the knob. This bat comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK228450), authenticating that this bat was broken during the fifth inning of the August 1st game.
