Boston Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis wore this gray Boston road jersey on April 28th, 2012, during the Red Sox 1-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox at US Cellular Field. This matchup was a classic pitcher’s duel between Jon Lester of the Red Sox and Jake Peavy of the White Sox, with an Adrian Gonzalez RBI single in the top of the fourth providing the game’s only offense. 2012 was Youkilis’ final season in Boston, as the Red Sox dealt him to the White Sox in late June of 2012.
