After spending the first seven seasons with his native Cleveland Cavaliers, where he resurrected a fledgling franchise, LeBron James – to the surprise of many, took his talents to South Beach to start the 2010-11 season. James and the Miami Heat would make the NBA Finals in all four of his seasons in Miami, including his first NBA Title in 2012.
Coming into the 2012-13 season, LeBron James and the Miami Heat were defending champions, and he wore these size 16 Nike sneakers during that season. These white sneakers with black and red trim show light game use. Sewn inside the shoes are a “Cut & Tailored to the Exact Specifications of World Champion LeBron James” tag and hand written on the tongues of each sneaker in black marker is “11-5-12”. Based on the markings, game use experts Mears have determined that these sneakers were worn on the November 5th game against the Phoenix Suns in Miami, where James scored a game-high 23 points in the Heat’s 124-99 victory. These sneakers come with a full LOA from Mears. Images from this game are posted online.
