Minnesota Vikings left tackle Matt Kalil wore this purple Vikings home jersey in the third game of his NFL career, a 24-13 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on September 23rd, 2012 at Mall of America Field. Adrian Peterson collected 86 of Minnesota’s 146 rushing yards, while Christian Ponder passed for two touchdowns and ran for a third in the Vikings upset victory over the eventual Super Bowl XLVII runners-up. Kalil was one of six Vikings to play every offensive snap of the game. The 2012 NFL Draft’s fourth overall pick, Kalil was named to both the Pro Bowl and the NFL All-Rookie Team.
