Former Detroit Tigers ace Max Scherzer wore this road gray Majestic size 48 button-down jersey during the Tigers’ 5-3 victory over the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field in Cleveland on July 25th, 2012. Scherzer improved his record to 10-5 after the victory as he held Cleveland to only three hits and two earned runs in seven innings pitched, while striking out eight batters. This jersey features “Detroit” sewn on in cursive font across the chest in navy, orange and white tackle twill. Scherzer’s number “37” is sewn on the left center in the same navy, orange and white tackle twill. Navy piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons, with the Majestic tag screen printed on the bottom front left tail and the white Tigers team patch the reads “37 48 ’12 361” sewn on below. The back of the jersey has “SCHERZER” and “37” sewn on in navy, orange and white tackle twill. The left sleeve has the Majestic logo embroidered in navy. This jersey displays moderate game use with some soil stains on the outside collar and should area. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ595812), which authenticates that Scherzer wore this jersey during the July 25th, 2012 game.
