The most impressive single season offensive award a player can achieve is the Triple Crown. This elite award comes with leading the league in average, home runs and RBI, all categories owned by Miguel Cabrera in 2012. That summer, the Tigers 3rd baseman hit .330 with 44 homers and 139 RBI to become the first player since Carl Yastrzemski in 1967 to take home the coveted prize.

     Cabrera wore this jersey during the September 28th game against the Twins in Minnesota, showing his Triple Crown form by going 2-for-4 that day. This button-down Cool Base road jersey has “Detroit” scripted across the chest and Cabrera’s number “24” below, both in orange, white and navy tackle twill. Navy piping runs around the neck opening and down the front. Majestic label is in the lower left front tail with “24 50 ’12 662” in black chain stitching on a white strip tag. The back has “CABRERA” above his number “24” in orange, white and navy tackle twill. The numbers have been signed by Cabrera in silver pen with the inscription “Game Worn 9-28-12 2 for 4 2012 AL MVP Triple Crown 2012”. The jersey shows good game use, with some soiling on the right chest and smaller turf marks and pine tar staining throughout - a real Triple Crown gamer in all respects. Tigers’ clubhouse manager Jim Schmakel marked the manufacturer’s label “JSG” in black marker to verify the jersey was worn by Cabrera. This jersey comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B52320) and MLB Authenticated (EK326408) holograms are affixed for the game use and signature.
