First making a mark for himself as a fresh-faced kid on the World Series-Bound Florida Marlins in 2003, Miguel Cabrera has continued to improve with age, acknowledged today as one of baseball's greatest active players. His 2012 season was one for the ages as he batted .330 with 44 home runs and 139 RBI runs, becoming the first player to win the Triple Crown since 1967.

This striking-looking two-tone Cabrera's SAM MC1 bat was used by Cabrera during his 2012 historic season and shows outstanding use. This bat is un-cracked and has several ball marks with stitch impressions that can be seen on the barrel. There is a moderate coat of Mota stick runs from the handle to the SAM logo and the handle itself has been taped in a criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip. The bat's specs - length "34", weight "32oz" date "03/16/12", model "MC1" and order "2331" is hand written on the top barrel in black ink. Cabrera's number "24" and team weight code is written on the knob and barrel end. The Triple Crown winner has signed the barrel in gold marker along with his number "24" and additionally inscribed “GAME USED 2012 SEASON”, “TRIPLE CROWN 2012”, “2012 A.L. MVP” and “33 AVG 44 HR 139 RBI”. This is a fantastic game used bat from one of the greatest single season performances in 21st century baseball history. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B04951) who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10. There is also a LOA from JSA (Z64081) for his signature.
