Under head coach Kyle Flood, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights college football team recorded a 9-4 overall record in 2012. They finished 5-2 in Big East play, tops in the conference. Running back Jawan Jamison paced the offense with 1,075 rushing yards while QB Gary Nova threw for 2,695 yards and 22 TDs. On the defensive side of the ball, Khaseem Greene did it all – six sacks, 12 tackles for a loss, two interceptions and two touchdowns.
