Beautifully signed team ball from the ball club that swept the 2012 World Series. During the regular season the team sent 4 of their own to the All-Star Game, all starters: Melky Cabrera, Buster Posey, Pablo Sandoval and Matt Cain. Cain also threw a perfect game that season, complete with 14 strike outs. After clinching the NL West the Giants overcame a two-game lead by Cincinnati then beat the Cardinals to become the National League Champions. Facing Detroit In Game 1, Sandoval tied the World Series record by hitting 3 home runs as the Giants jumped to an early lead. San Francisco then blanked the Tigers in Games 2 and 3 to tie the record set by Baltimore back in 1966. Game 4 was a climatic extra inning affair won in the 10th when Marco Scutaro singled home Ryan Theriot with the go-ahead run. Reliever Sergio Romo struck out the side in the bottom of the inning and the Giants were World Champions. This official Rawlings ball was specially made for World Series and features the gold 2012 Series logo. Signed by 30 of the world champion Giants including Bruce Bochy, Matt Cain, Buster Posey, Marco Scutaro, Sergio Romo, Brian Wilson and series MVP Pablo Sandoval. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
