Nicknamed "The Greek Freak" for his on-court mastery, Giannis Antetokounmpo has brought a tremendous measure of new energy to the sports card industry! Incredibly athletic and versatile, Antetokounmpo is widely acknowledged as the leading all-around player in the league. At age 25, he won his second consecutive NBA Most Valuable Player Award and his first Defensive Player of the Year Award, becoming only the third player in history to win both in the same year. (He joins the elite company of Hall of Famers Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon.) Beyond those amazing achievements, he made even more history: Giannis finished the season with a Player Efficiency Rating (PER) of 31.9, the highest single PER of all time, eclipsing even the stellar numbers seen in Wilt Chamberlain’s 1962 campaign. The Milwaukee Bucks are certainly confident in Giannis’ limitless potential, having signed him to the richest contract in the history of the NBA – a five-year, nearly $230 million dollar deal. The card's BGS condition report: Centering: 8, Corners 9.5, Edges 9, Surface 9. (The card stands a tiny ".5" sub-grade half-increment away from being evaluated at the BGS MINT 9 level.) A statement on the card's back highlights Panini's warranty for the authenticity of the signature and genuineness of the relic component, and serves as the item's COA.
